The power of the medium

Brian from iQ and Shenda from ICAN
I finally made it to BootCamp in the middle of a hectic week. This morning I sneaked into Shenda Loughnane’s session: Online Advertising.
It was a workshop with a strong practical focus. Shenda explained how to buy advertising space, where to find statistics on Internet usage and how to measure [...]

Web ‘governed’

Wouldn’t you know it - after waiting days for the chance to present at Boot Camp, today I get to host not 1, but 2 workshops. Lucky me! The first course (Web Governance) has just finished. I am now setting up for Web Content Strategy.

Not at all.

Into the breach stepped iQ Friend Ciaran Hagan. His recently purchased iPhone had everything needed to plug the gap.

Apple proves its worth once again.

Web writing: the value of real-life insights

For many years, iQ has been delivering a “Writing for the Web 101″ course. Of all our training events this one is consistently over-subscribed.
This indicates 2 things to me:

That there is a genuine eagerness to learn how to write well.
That the techniques we provide are compelling.
